When you are using simple mode and an object has additional tags which are not represented in the templates, there is no hint that they exist at all. They are easily missed and result in unwanted, contradictionary or nonsensical tagging. This happended to me frequently, only noted the problems by chance in the rendered maps several days later.
Ideally, the additional tags should be shown in a small editable table like in advanced mode.
There should be at least an indication that additional tags exist/how many addional tags there are so you have a chance to switch into advanced mode and have a look.
