[Submitted to the original trac issue database at 5.42am, Wednesday, 8th June 2011]

in the following case, barrier=hedge doesn't get rendered:

example (europaplatz): http://www.openstreetmap.org/?lat=48.298279&lon=14.305321&zoom=18&layers=M

the multipolygon consists of an outer area tagged with highway=pedestrian + area=yes and a couple of inner areas tagged with barrier=hedge + area=yes.

in such a case, barriers do not get rendered at all.

it was a data problem as both relation and outer way of multipolygon was tagged as highway=pedestrian + area=yes
