A red arrow displayed on map

Description

Since a few days I can see a thick short red arrow on basic OSM map, pointing to place where I've put two amenity=bench points 1331554285, v1 and 1331554282, v2 (I'm not sure if the arrow points to any particular of them - the resolution is not sufficient) of total four such points placed in the vicinity (changeset 8489815).

I'm not able to find out anything suspicious on these two POIs (if the arrow should be suggesting that) - whether they are too close to one another? Otherwise I assume all four would be marked as such.

Could such warning be additionally placed in understandable text form on the Changeset's page, nearby the mentioned Point(s) or Way(s) (and if so, also summarized somewhere nearby the Tags' area)?

A red arrow on map

I have no idea where that arrow is coming from - it's not present when I look at the map in that area so your browser must be adding it for some reason.

It looks like the arrow you get when you click on a search result so my guess is that you have searched for something in that area? If all else fails try deleting your OSM cookies.

There's no bug here that I can see anyway, and it certainly isn't any sort of attempt to tell you about a problem with your data.

After logging in through other browser (Chrome vs. IE) I've noticed the red diamond-shaped "my home position" (surrounded by the green "nearby mappers"' positions) also pointing to approx. the same place.

I've shifted it a bit and will later report, if I see the red arrow being shifted too.

No. I've never searched for anything before.

Now I see my "home-centered" map view with the red arrow, pointing to exactly the same point, where I've shifted the red diamond-shaped "my home position". (I guess it is not important at all, why does the arrow occasionally appear. So the case can be now forgotten.)
