#39 closed enhancement (fixed)

get rid of the separate log-in page

Reported by: tom@… Owned by: steve@…
Priority: minor Milestone: OSM 0.5
Component: website Version:
Keywords: interface Cc:

Description

The log-in box should be on every page, to save people clicking around?

It could be an AJAXy show/hide thing (see Ning etc for examples) if there isn't enough room.

There's still a separate log-in page.

I meant that the login *form* should be on every page, instead of having a separate page. Feel free to close the ticket again if you disagree, but especially with the new small font size there should be plenty of space.

I don't like too much stuff on one page. I like it how its now.

(Except #140)

in 0.4 login page comes up automatically when needed, then redirects to requested page.

The login page is still seperate yes, but as indicated it comes up automatically when needed and redirects back to where we were. So while an Ajaxy thingy might still be more elegant, this is pretty ok. I'll mark it fixed again.
