For the past few days I've been unable to d'n'd POI's or ways (open or closed).
When I hover the mouse over a way it turns pale yellow & when I press the mouse button down it goes a darker yellow, but refuses to budge when I move the mouse.

This is probably the recent intentional behaviour change detailed in #3562.
You first have to select objects with a separate click. Then you can drag them.
Personally I think it should be made an option.
I can see the value for beginners and in very dense areas, but it does increase the click count when you are mostly moving things around.
