#4002 new enhancement

Make ability to go full screen more obvious in Potlatch

Reported by: Ben Abelshausen Owned by: potlatch-dev@…
Priority: minor Milestone:
Component: potlatch2 Version: 2.0
Keywords: usability Cc:

Description

Potlatch is not very usable on a netbook with a small screen. Maybe adding a simple feature that hides the "left" "greeting" and "tabnav" html elements plus change the "content" element to "postition:absolute;top:0px;left:0px;height:100%;width:100%" on the main OSM page would improve on this.

This way at least the full browser window is available.

  • Component changed from website to potlatch2
  • Owner changed from rails-dev@… to potlatch-dev@…

It already exists, but isn't very visible because Potlatch doesn't provide any sort of icon or menu option to do it, only a hot key.

In any case it's a Potlatch issue, not a web site issue, as all the necessary hooks already exist in the rails code.
