Hello,

Osmarender will render the outline of a road differently if motorroad=yes (see motorroad in the wiki). This can be used to visually indicate that a road has been upgraded to motorway status even though it is classed with a lower status. In Korea this can apply to highway=trunk, highway=primary and highway=secondary.

Thank you.

I would propose that we don't render this tag, as rendering too many different tags will only cause a visual mess of which users don't understand the meaning. I will therefore close this issue. If someone disagrees, feel free to re-open this on the new CartoCSS issue tracker: https://github.com/gravitystorm/openstreetmap-carto

I also agree that rendering it would be overkill. I will therefore close this issue.
