The default Potlatch 2 background is being rendered as the Ordnance Survey 1:50000 map in parts of Britain. New users are likely to assume that the background is something they can legally trace from.

Yep - short of nuking the entire layer, we can't detect from within P2 whether the maps are proprietary or not! I've alerted Bing to what is clearly a Bing bug.
