I second that.

The icon for "parking disabled" exist on the webpage which seems to be the source for mapnik icons

parking=* is for the type of parking structure, e.g. parking=surface or parking=multi-storey. The right way to determine this in a map stylesheet is capacity:disabled=N if N>0.

In the absence of this in the default Mapnik rendering, mappers are resorting to hacks like naming parking blocks for disabled drivers using name=Disabled. Hopefully a fix will emerge soon.

I'll report this over at for the stylesheet reimplementation effort too.

Replying to math1985:

Closed per Andrew Chadwick.

To clarify, I have nothing to do with this bug closure. I am still strongly in favour of *some* default layer on displaying an icon for disabled parking.

Sorry for the unclear formulation - I of course meant that I closed it because you pointed out it is duplicate with the Github issue.
