The tagging menu seems to spend most of its time frozen for me, in both Safari and Chrome. My Flash player is version 10.1.102.64 on Mac OS 10.6.8 (64 bit).

The behavior is erratic, but usually occurs after I've clicked some way or node in the editing window and appears to be irreversible. Only reloading P2 brings the tagging side menu back. Possibly related to ticket:4072. I can generally reproduce the behavior within 2-3 clicks, and it occurs on both the live P2 at http://www.openstreetmap.org/edit and my own local copy built from Git master changeset eaece4c.

When the menu is frozen, it can not be resized.

FWIW, I upgraded to Flash 11.1.102.55 and the problem doesn't appear to exist in this version. Clicking and clicking, can't duplicate the behavior.

osm.org now correctly detects the version of Flash required.
