Description

I propose to add hillshading layer to the main map site. I suggest to add it next to "Data" item in "Overlays" menu.

The hillshading I mean can be seen for instace at: http://toolserver.org/~kolossos/openlayers/kml-on-ol.php?lang=de&uselang=de&params=50.416944444444_N_16.163055555556_E_dim%3A10000_region%3ACZ-KR_type%3Acity&zoom=10&lat=50.55674&lon=16.04427&layers=B0000FFFT

There is policy on tile layers which you can find here:

http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Tile_Layer_Guidelines

Once you've read it I suggest you add the layer you are interested in to the list here:

http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Featured_tiles

If it seems to fulfil all the criteria then you can then ask the Operations Working Group to consider whether it should be added.

Note: See TracTickets for help on using tickets.
