There's lot of private houses with fence around it and gates. Those gates are usually nodes at barrier=fence and highway=service;service=driveway crossing. Those gates are not very important at low levels, however, they are rendered. In other scenarios those gates are important, so enhancement request would turn off rendering of the gates at zoom 15, because it looks awkward.
