When I click on a message reply link in an email, and send a reply, it's almost certain that by that point I've read the message. I think it makes sense to automatically mark the message as read, rather than having to do that separately.

It appears to not be fixed - they're still not getting marked as read.

I misread this ticket and thought it was talking about the case where you reply to the message by sending an email - that is what I fixed.

The case of clicking on the reply link, which is what the ticket is actually about, does still need dealing with.
