[Submitted to the original trac issue database at 4.15pm, Saturday, 21st April 2012]

The text for HTTP error 500 says: "Please contact the server administrator, webmaster[at]openstreetmap.org and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error."

Mails to webmaster[at]openstreetmap.org seem to end up in the bit bucket. I suggest changing the text to something like: "Please check trac.openstreetmap.org. If you don't find the issue reported there, you may want to create a new ticket."

Mail to webmaster[at]openstreetmap.org certainly does not go in the bit bucket - it comes to me.

If you have an example of a mail to that address that you think wasn't dealt with then please provide the details.
