[Submitted to the original trac issue database at 11.26am, Monday, 21st May 2012]

when at http://osm.org/go/0LAd2YXfJ-- and trying to search for "Holekova" street, it returns as the first one a street in Prague (and not the one directly on map view). the street searching for is second. if I search for "Holekova, Bratislava", the results are OK.

I've noticed this also on other streets, where the first result was in a different city, not the one zoomed at. Both are perfect name matches.

some of the searches are better now, some not:
http://osm.org/go/0LAd8PNc8-- and searching for "Wilsonova" or "Bernolkova" returns distant streets. In the first case, tertiary roads are first, but in the second case, all streets are residential.

This has been fixed a while ago with [http://git.openstreetmap.org/nominatim.git/commit/6773932f4d6cd52be9159ff52d4acdc4513eba5d this commit].
