Have different symbol for a node with attributes so that when using JOSM you don't erase nodes that carry vital data (place=village, amenity=parking).

Have a look at the mappaint plugin which gives you symbols for places and parkings (and much other things) pus oyu can configure which tags should look how. Is that what you want? In this case, I propose to close this suggestion.

I moved this ticket over to the JOSM trac at josm.eigenheimstrasse.de because it really is a JOSM problem. Flagged it as "invalid" here for want of a better status ("not applicable" would probably have been right but that doesn't exist).
