Sometimes, Potlatch 2 stops updating some parts of the screen. In this situation, clicking on different ways does not update the left panel (the tags are stuck on the last way selected before the bug rises). It is still possible to edit things, but you'll not be able to set any tags or relations.

Also, if some dialog if opened (for example "Save"), when you are typing anything, the keystrokes will be interpreted as if the dialog box wasn't open (in this example, pressing the "S" key will open ANOTHER Save dialog over the first, and so on.).

I could not find any way to reproduce the problem, but sometimes it appears after just a few minutes of editing and sometimes, only after many hours and adding/editing many thousands of nodes/ways/etc, but in the end it allways happens (if I do not close the changeset and the editor after reaching my goal for it).

Using Google Chrome (latest version), latest Potlatch2 version (I do not keep it cached), and latest version of Flash (according to the self-updater). OS is Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit, using a dual-monitor setup.

After many edits (and crashes), I found that the problem seems to occur more when way tags are overwritten. For example, if a way has the tag "highway" = "road", and I press the "+" key, and type "hi" (invoking "highway" as the autocomplete option), press the "tab" key, and type "re" (invoking "residential" as the autocomplete option), the chance of getting stuck with the screen un-updateable is much higher than normal.

On the other hand, if in the previous example I press the "0" key to remove all tags from the way, and only after that add the "highway" = "residential" to the same way, I never saw the problem again (going to map more later...)

Odd - I do that now and again and I've never had any problems with it.

Are you able to install the Flash Debug Player (http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Potlatch_2/Using_Flash_Debug_Player) to see if an exception is being thrown?
