If I search on New Road, Gissing Civil Parish then New Road in Gissing Civil Parish is not found. Similarly if I search for just Gissing Civil Parish then nothing is found.

New Road is way 43,789,778, created 4th November 2009 and completely contained within Gissing Civil Parish.

Gissing Civil Parish is relation 1,022,621, created 4th July 2010. It is of type=boundary, admin_level=10, boundary=administrative with name=Gissing Civil Parish. Its component ways form an in-order, closed loop. Each of those has boundary=administrative and admin_level=10 tags set.

Of note is a recent (3 days ago) change made by user mentor in changeset 12684525 that removed two nodes (799850808, 799894496) from one of the component ways. Over a year before that user PeterIto moved node 799903674 of the same way.

The parish was still marked as an invalid polygon in the DB. Presumably the change by mentor fixed that but Nominatim will not update relations when only their members are changed. I've now manually re-indexed that and it appears as expected.
