[Submitted to the original trac issue database at 3.37pm, Tuesday, 4th December 2012]

when I search for street name ( El kawthar ) in Giza - Egypt , the result is
El hutia - Faqus _ Egypt , this result is wrong Hutiya was a wrong name of the area and I fixed it years ago to el mohandisen, and Faqus is a far away village in Egypt , not even near the city

the correct adress is :
el kawthar st.
El mohandesen
Giza - Egypt

Looks correct to me. The search http://nominatim.openstreetmap.org/search.php?q=
returns: Al-Kawthar, El Mohandesin, Giza, 12411, Egypt.

If that is not the result you are talking about, please reopen the ticket and post a search link and the OSM ID of the result you are talking about.
