Areas tagged as landuse=basin and basin=detention render blue like water on the standard basemap.

'Detention' means a basin is used for temporary storage of water (like during heavy rain) but therefore doesn't normally contain water.

Houston, Texas, USA has many detention basins, including two that are very large.

I suggest that basin=detention not be rendered blue. Perhaps a basic background grey with blue dots? Or don't render it at all, so other features within the basin can be seen (both of these in Houston contain parks). Or look to the landcover key to determine how to render the area.
