Looks like only the post code is different between those results:

http://nominatim.openstreetmap.org/search.php?q=dietla+krak%C3%B3w&viewbox=-144.41%2C63.94%2C144.41%2C-63.94

Also compare with a query in reversed order:

http://nominatim.openstreetmap.org/search.php?q=krak%C3%B3w+dietla&viewbox=19.93%2C50.06%2C19.95%2C50.04

[Added to the original trac issue at 6.49am, Monday, 16th December 2013]

There is a deduplication of results but only if the results are exactly the same. Showing all results with different postcodes is intentional.
