A way with

railway=platform
tunnel=yes

is just rendered as without tunnel, but but the railway with railway=rail tunnel=yes is rendered just fine. Not cruicial, maybe underground mapping is not the premier goal of osm, but would be pretty I think.

Here an example of 2013-03-23, south platform with tunnel=1, with no difference
