It seems that potlach somewhat reproduces an error that was very common in the old applet: when adding a new node in the middle of an existing segment (thus dividing it into two new segments), the old segment is not deleted. It's removed from the way, though.
This error does not seem to be 100% reproduceable, though it has hit me twice today.

I was using JOSM ni parallel when using potlach - maybe I'm completely wrong, and I'm seeing the segment left in JOSM, not the segment left in the DB...
