It would be nice if the git repositories (e.g. potlatch2, rails, ID) would also be included in trac.

  • At least the [/source source browsing] and [/timeline repository changes] should work.
  • Not sure about [/tickets issue] syncing but would be nice, too.

Repositories hosted on git.osm.org, like the rails code and PL2, are browsable in trac.

The workflow with iD is a bit different in that it is an external project that supplies releases to us (with PL2 I would decide when to pull from the external repo and build a version for us) so there is no need to host a "canonical" version on git.osm.org and hence no way to integrate it to trac.

Certainly any idea of trying to sync tickets with github is completely out of the question.
