You can tell Nominatim to which street the bank belongs by simply adding an addr:street tag, see [http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Key:addr the wiki page about addresses] for more information about the tag.

There's a named footpath between a bank and a street, and this causes Nominatim to report the footpath "Walkway" as the bank's address:

It would be nice if Nominatim could figure that out, e.g. take into account how close the path is to the street and use street's name instead?
