Switching from 'view' to 'edit' while preserving location is very difficult:

  • 'edit' URL not updated as you pan around the map

  • on page reload after clicking on 'view' tab, 'view' URL gets lat/lon but 'edit' doesn't

  • mlat/mlon appear in some circumstances, not passed through to lat/lon on 'edit' tab

  • etc. etc.

Also suggest removing 'please zoom in to edit' (italicised 'Edit') code - Potlatch assumes minimum zoom 12 anyway.

This is largely fixed now - it just needs some work on Potlatch to pass the position back from flash to javascript to complete things.
