#5057 closed defect (wontfix)

light mint green and light grey text on white background is not accessible

Description

the recent UI downgrade uses colours in the page headline/menu which are not useful for ease of reading. Not a good contrast for visually impaired people.

Ever seen a book printed in light grey letters? Only to save ink/toner if you print drafts yourself, right? ;-)

something like this would be easier to read: https://help.openstreetmap.org/upfiles/contrast_yes.png

Seriously, aseerel4c26, please stop referring to it as a "downgrade", especially given that you upbraided me on help.osm.org the other day for a (well-meant) language gag. Thank you.

Resolution: wontfix
Status: newclosed

@Richard: I comment on the technical fact (as it is experienced by me ... and I am not alone, I guess you know it). You commented on the person (at help.osm.org) - at least how I initially (mis-)understood it (sorry again for this). And ... all in all this does not belong to here. However, yes, I will be silent (this is "wontfix" anyway), other stuff to do.
