the recent UI downgrade uses colours in the page headline/menu which are not useful for ease of reading. Not a good contrast for visually impaired people.

Ever seen a book printed in light grey letters? Only to save ink/toner if you print drafts yourself, right? ;-)

@richard: I comment on the technical fact (as it is experienced by me ... and I am not alone, I guess you know it). You commented on the person (at help.osm.org) - at least how I initially (mis-)understood it (sorry again for this). And ... all in all this does not belong to here. However, yes, I will be silent (this is "wontfix" anyway), other stuff to do.
