[Added to the original trac issue at 6.07am, Wednesday, 7th May 2014]

Nominatim got the importance of the place wrong. This can almost always be fixed by adding a [http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Key:wikipedia wikipedia tag] to the place. [http://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/22179984 Added for San Jose].
