The pdf export in main page does not save scale in pdf. Considered a bug because it misses a basic feature of a map.

Your basic feature is somebody else's overdecoration.

But at the end of the day there's no way for us to do it without massive work as the scale on the web map is added by the javascript code and not rendered as part of the map so the map rendering code has no support for drawing a scale.

It's also not a web site bug because the web site just redirects to the server so I'll reassign this, not that there's much prospect of it happening unless somebody volunteers to write the code.
