I think the gap between priorities "major" and "minor" is too big. I tend to leave it at "major" for normal bug reports because that's the default, but it feels wrong. Please consider adding a default priority "normal". If that's too many priorities, drop "blocker".

Seriously, it's not like we have armies of people fixing bugs and teams of managers sorting them by priority and handing them out. The priority you set a bug to will make pretty much no difference to what happens to it so I really wouldn't worry about it too much.
