From David Earl:

If you do "Victoria & Albert Museum" for example, you are told about South Kensington, but it doesn't mention London. Likewise "Imperial War Museum" tells you "Elephant and Castle" and "Duxford" but not the much more useful "London" and "Cambridge".

Can I suggest that if the nearest place comes back as a suburb, village or hamlet (rank <= 30), you add its nearest place if any (i.e. recursively). Maybe with a comma for suburbs (30) and "(near x)" for villages (20) and hamlets (10), e.g. "Victoria & Albert Museum less than 1km north-east of South Kensington, London" or "Hinton Road, Fulbourn (near Cambridge)".

David also added:

Because of the multiple languages I suggest editing out anything in square brackets after the qualifying place names (perhaps not in the primary result though, so if you search for Londres you see it in the result).

(In [7321]) Provide extra context for namefinder results where the nearest place
is small (a hamlet, village or suburb). Closes #794.
