Having an useful and nice map on the main web page may interest more people to get involved in the project. I mean, I've noticed it's easy to add mouse coordinates on the map, or distance and areas calculator. Adding nice features to the map makes more people get interest on it. Selector layer has not been used enough, it can be added POIs or radar positions, etc. Many nice things can be done with Openlayers without effort.

I'm having a bit of trouble working out what you're asking for here? Is there something specific that you're looking for?

I mean that adding features to the map will make people pay attention to the project. In google maps you can not see your coordinates on the screen, also you can not calculate areas. I believe adding those features makes the map more usable then more people will be intereseted on it. I'm not searching any specific feature (I've learnt to do myself :)) but they could be optional. I've seen this is very easy with openlayers. What do you think about that?

Issue trackers are best for specific issues, rather than asking for something in general. If you have a specific thing that you would like implemented, please create an issue for that specific enhancement.
