When we move the event calender to the main site, we could do more things with it. For example we could ask people to add coordinates to the event they are entering. Then the user would be able to see that there is for example a mapping party in the neighborhood. This could easily fit in the users page, above nearby users.

What's this "when we move the event calender to the main site" stuff? I know of know plans to do any such thing.

An enhancement request for something that doesn't even exist is clearly just silly, so I'm closing this.

Let me translate:

Please extend the current event calendar on the wiki, to have:

  • coordinates for each event
  • ability to see which events are near you, on the "main site"

(why do I bother?)

Well if you had phrased your ticket as a request to add an event calendar feature to the main site then I might understood, but instead you seemed to be asking for specific features to be added to an event calendar that (a) did not exist and (b) was not planned as far as I knew.
