I don't know how easy this would be but I'd like to see Nasa's Landsat images besides OpenAerial?'s as Nasa's seem to have better colours around here.

If someone can provide these images in a like-Google ('900913') tile format then we can offer them at the drop of a hat - it's a single-line change. Until then it won't happen - sorry.

AFAIK, OpenAerialMap uses NASA landsat as a baselayer, I'm not sure why there'd be a difference, maybe OAM uses a different 'flavour' of the imagery.

Well landsat imagery is available in several different bandwidth,
spannig more than the visible, most notably the IR. So you can use
lots of techniques to make images look better, by merging them in
different ways.

I'm guessing OAM landsat is enhanced to a better resolution using
different tricks from the NASA one. (Or maybe the NASA landsat is just
scaled up with something better than just doubling pixels.
