[Submitted to the original trac issue database at 8.46am, Thursday, 5th June 2008]

highway=pedestrian should be more important then footway, but on Mapnik on zoom level 13 footway is shown, but pedestrian is not! pedestrian appears only on level 14. I think it would be better to change zoom levels for pedestrian and footway or atleast make them equal.

There is something else very odd here as pedestrian usually comes out in grey, but those are white for some reason. I can't see any reason why though.

I have grey (pedestrian only in park, other whites are residential or service).

pedestrian is usually only in busy city centres, hence why it will only be at higher zooms.

Highway=pedestrian brought in at z13, as thinnish grey cased line (07/06/08), to match footways
