Ito World Ltd are in the final stage of developing some tools to help OSM contributors to spot and correct data errors in OSM. We would like to include a PotLatch edit link that takes people directly into PotLatch with the relevant feature selected. The URL would be something like:

http://www.openstreetmap.org/edit?lat=52.081284&lon=1.129021&zoom=18&id=xxxxxx&type=tttt

For exampple:
http://www.openstreetmap.org/edit?lat=52.081284&lon=1.129021&zoom=18&id=789982&type=way

or
http://www.openstreetmap.org/edit?lat=52.081284&lon=1.129021&zoom=18&id=238765123&type=node

Am working on this. Query string will need to contain either 'node=12345' or 'way=12345' (rather than 'type=node&id=12345').
