I find various references to Potlatch 2 supporting the "R" key to repeat tags from the last selected node or way. I can't get it to work.

I'd love to see:

  1. Support for "repeat tags from other node/way"
  2. A keystroke guide built into Potlatch II.
  3. "repeat tags" as an icon in the lower right of Potlatch II.

Repeating tags can indeed be dangerous. But at least in an "advanced mode" it is very useful, and helps keep the database free of typos and clutter.

See also this patch which seems to add repeat to potlatch 2:

As of potlatch 2.1-21 the feature appears as "R Repeat tags" under "shortcuts" in "help", but does not work, at least not on Linux/Google Chrome or Linux/Firefox.
